Founded in 1980, Donlon Builders is a general contractor and developer of industrial, commercial, and medical office throughout Southern California. While Donlon Builders prides itself on its expansive list of new construction, we also perform tenant improvements and renovations. Honesty and transparency are the foundation of our company and we strive to constantly communicate openly with our clients.

Joseph Donnellan founded Donlon Builders on his extensive construction knowledge with over 40 years of experience in the construction industry.

Desmond Donnellan, President, oversees all operations and is responsible for building long term relationships and partnerships with clients, consultants and subcontractors. He has extensive construction management experience, combined with strong relationships in the Southern California real estate market.

With our In-house design staff, we are able to provide our clients flexibility in planning and design while value engineering and meeting our clients' budgets. Donlon Builders always starts its projects with an emphasis on efficient site layout and quality design. While Donlon Builders has the capability to design its projects, we also welcome projects with outside architects. We have extensive experience interfacing and coordinating with a host of architects and engineers.

Development

Donlon Builders is a Developer, Joint Venture and Build to Suit company, that can perform a host of services, including but not limited to site location, feasibility and site analysis and costs and profits estimation.

Donlon Builders is an “open book” contractor that can enable the client to participate in the project as much or as little as they desire.
